You are responsible for making and paying for your own travel arrangements. The closest airport to the meeting is Washington Reagan National Airport. Please note that transportation costs are subject to change, without prior notice.
Washington Reagan National Airport
- Taxi Service: The airport is located 20 miles from the hotel and one-way fare is approximately $55 (additional fuel surcharges may apply). It takes 40 minutes to/from the hotel, depending upon traffic.
- Airport Shuttle: SuperShuttle. Call 800 BLUE VAN (258-3826). Reservations are optional. One way fare is $27.00 per person ($10.00 for additional person). At Baggage Claim, follow the signs for Ground Transportation/Shared Vans.
- Metro (Subway): The hotel is within one block of the White Flint Metro Station, located on the Red Line. Take the Yellow Line towards Fort Totten / Mount Vernon Square and transfer to the Red Line at L'Enfant Plaza Station. Transfer at L’Enfant Plaza to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove / Grosvenor-Strathmore. Exit at the White Flint Metro station.
- Driving instructions: Take George Washington Memorial Parkway North to I-495 North towards Maryland. From I-495, take the I-270 spur North (Exit 38) towards Rockville/Frederick. Take the Democracy Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Old Georgetown Road. Turn right onto Executive Boulevard. Turn left into the Marriott Conference Center Parking.
Washington Dulles International Airport
- Taxi Service: The airport is located 25 miles from the hotel and one-way fare is approximately $55 (additional fuel surcharges may apply). It takes 45 minutes to/from the hotel, depending upon traffic.
- Airport Shuttle: SuperShuttle. Call 800 BLUE VAN (258-3826). Reservations are optional. One way fare is $27.00 per person ($10.00 for each additional person). At Baggage Claim, follow the signs for Ground Transportation/Shared Vans.
- Driving instructions: From the Dulles Airport Access road, merge onto Route 267 East towards I-495. Take I-495 (Exit 18) towards Baltimore/Bethesda. Merge onto I-270 North (Exit 38) towards Rockville/Frederick. Take the Democracy Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Old Georgetown Road. Turn right onto Executive Boulevard. Turn left into the Marriott Conference Center Parking.
Baltimore Washington International Airport
- Taxi Service. The airport is located 35 miles from the hotel and one-way fare is approximately $80 (additional fuel surcharges may apply). It takes one hour to/from the hotel, depending upon traffic.
- Airport Shuttle: SuperShuttle. Call 800 BLUE VAN (258-3826). Reservations are optional. One way fare is $40.00 per person ($12.00 for additional person). At Baggage Claim, follow the signs for Ground Transportation/Shared Vans.
- Driving instructions: Take I-95 South to Exit 4B towards Washington. Merge onto I-495 (Exit 27) towards Silver Spring. Merge onto Rockville Pike (Exit 34). Turn left onto Marinelli Road. Turn right onto Executive Boulevard. Turn right into the Marriott Conference Center Parking.
Hotel Parking: Overnight guest parking is valet only: $12.00 per night with in-and-out privileges. Parking for day attendees only is complimentary. Parking validation passes for day attendees will be available at the meeting information desk.
Meals
Light refreshments will be made available to caucus meeting participants on October 21. Continental breakfast, and AM and PM refreshment breaks will be made available to meeting participants on October 22 and 23, 2008. You will be responsible for all other meals. The hotel features Meritage, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also a variety of eateries and restaurants within a 5-mile radius of the hotel. A restaurant list will be provided at meeting registration.
