Complex Data Management and Visualization
Data, well-presented, can inspire behavioral changes. Yet, we know that health information systems often house multiple layers of data, making it difficult for users to navigate and understand. Our IT specialists use their insight and up-to-date industry training to determine the best formats and mediums to design, store, and secure data. Our graphic designers visually interpret scientific and statistical data to create "big-picture" visuals that inform others and prompt action.
- Dependable and continual access: SEI works with the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), members of National Institutes of Health advisory councils, and participants in the Network of Minority Research Investigators to rebuild the NIDDK Web site and ensure that research data is current, comprehensive, and available—dependably and continually—to researchers and practitioners.
- Managing trainings: Our Web developers created a new Web site for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' National Medicare Training Program to manage training events and products designed for Medicare partners and professionals who work with seniors and people with disabilities.
- Building interactive web sites: Our IT specialists created and maintain interactive Web sites and databases to support a full range of activities for the National Institute on Drug Abuse's Clinical Trials Network, including protocol development, protocol reviews, training and dissemination activities, and providing master lists of required documents for nationwide network participants.
