Continuing Education Credits
The NIDA Blending Conference provides a maximum of 14 hours continuing medical education (CME) credits and continuing education units (CEU) for a diverse group of disciplines.
All requests for educational credits must be submitted by 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008. Please note: Requests made after this time may not be fulfilled.
Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Cincinnati, the University of Pittsburgh and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Cincinnati designates this educational activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurses
This conference provides 14 continuing education contact hours for nurses as approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing through the OBN Approver Unit at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing (OBN-011-93). Contact hours are valid in most states.

The University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry is an approved provider for psychologists through the Ohio Psychological Association Office of MCE.
Social Workers, Counselors, and Marriage and Family Therapists
The Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board application for CEU credit has been filed. Check back later once approval has been received.
Social Workers - NASW Credits
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (provider #886427553) for 14 continuing education contact hours.
Addiction Professionals - NAADAC Credits
NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, Approved Provider #568.
Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board This program has been approved for 14 Recognized Clock Hours (RCH). The Program Identification Number (PID#) for this conference is PID# 08-229-CSD.
A CME/CEU/CE Information Booth will be open at the NIDA Blending Conference during registration hours. Attendees may address specific questions about continuing education, receive appropriate forms to be completed for individual organizations, and fill out signup sheets as appropriate.

Important: To ensure that appropriate educational credit is provided, please submit your preference at the time of registration or no later than 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008. Each discipline requires that you sign in each day. Social workers are required to sign in and out each day.
